This site does not use cookies

We set no cookies at all: not technical ones, not profiling ones, not analytics ones. There is no Google Analytics and no statistics tool following you from page to page.

That is why you see no banner: there is nothing to accept. A banner asking consent for cookies that do not exist is theatre, and we would rather not.

Nor third-party requests

Opening a page on this site, your browser contacts no server other than ours. Typefaces and photographs are hosted here.

Until 4 August 2026 the typefaces came from Google Fonts and some photographs from Airbnb's CDN: those were connections that disclosed your IP address to those services. We have removed them.

The auction map

Regional pages carry a «See the lots on a map» button. Until you press it absolutely nothing is downloaded. If you do press it, the maps are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which will receive your IP address as any map site would. That is your choice, and it is the reason the map sits behind a button instead of loading on its own.

If we ever add analytics

If we later switch on a traffic analysis tool, the consent banner will appear before that tool is activated, not after, and this page will be updated accordingly.

How to block everything

You can stop your browser contacting external services through its own settings or an extension that blocks third-party requests. The site will keep working: the typefaces will change, and the map will not open.
